Overlays

Real-time overlays styled like the official F1 broadcasts, for broadcasting and also for drivers.

Plans: driver overlays (Delta, Battery, Tyres, Map) are in Essential. All real-time overlays, the OBS integration, the duel detector and the unified control panel require Pro or higher. See Plans.

  1. In the menu, open Overlays.
  2. Tap Start server. The status changes to Online.
  3. Stopping the server drops the connection of every browser source in OBS.

  1. In the list, copy the overlay URL (Copy URL).
  2. In OBS, add a Browser Source and paste the link.

Use Generate test data to send fictional drivers and check the look without real telemetry.

Use Open in Window to show the overlay in a window over the game. Adjust the opacity and position, and save with Save Layout. Load Layout restores the saved layout.

Live (on air during the session):

Overlay What it shows
Classification Top 10 with gaps and best laps
Lap time (delta) Lap comparison against the reference
Wheel, pedals and ERS ERS level and deployment mode
Track map Car positions on the track
Tyres | Forecast Wear of the most worn tyre projected to the finish at the current pace
Tyres | Damage Wear and damage between two drivers
Fuel Car fuel
Duels Identifies duels automatically

Post-race: only make sense after the session ends.

📷 List of available overlays
  • Delta: anchored to the bottom-left corner, avoids the other overlays and adjusts the number of slots to the screen width. The timer runs smoothly between telemetry packets.
  • Classification: sector colors stay frozen during the lap and only one driver shows purple at a time. In timed sessions, duels use absolute time.
  • Slow cars: the car that slows down in a yellow-flag sector is highlighted in yellow in the classification, and the track map pulses on that car (sonar effect).
  • Track map: gives priority to the local driver’s car. Cars outside the lobby are not shown.
  • Tyres: in the telemetry dashboard, hover to see the tyre history per stint (No Tyre Changes when there was no stop).

Create custom overlays in the visual editor, and rename or delete yours right in the app.
